N889AA was used by GOAA fire department for rescue training and later by the Orlando P.D.'s SWAT team for training. N889AA was crushed in early June 2003. N877AA will be used by GOAA F.D. for future training and will not be cut up.

Continental Airlines receives a new 737-900 at it's KMCO maintenance facility and another was to arrive on 9/7/05, but due to the Boeing strike it's arrival date is unsure.

Head on shot, this plane is spotless

F/A -18 Night Training Visit

The Pilot took time to pose with everyone. Unfortunately when you have the only camera, you sometimes forget to get you own photo That is not me  I am the shadow

Buggin' out at dusk, the pilot asked permission to light the burners for us, but the tower said no

John Travolta's visit on December 10, 2006

John Travolta flew into KMCO to promote the last flight of Qantas's last flight of the first B707 they purchased. I believe that the Qantas jet was the oldest flyable 707 and Travolta's jet was the youngest. Of course the one day I don't bring my digital camera and have to use a 35mm with year old film, that is why the quality is poor

Travolta and me ( with the ever present "handler")

Travolta was a great guy, and easy to talk to. My wife is a big fan of his, and I allowed  her to touch the hand that shook his hand
